Angel Fiscal Responsibility

At The Angelrock Project, we feel that serving through donations to non-profit organizations is crucial to making the world a better place for all who inhabit this planet. We are proud to offer a listing of organizations for you to consider for your charitable giving. However, just as important as making the donation, is having the ability to access crucial information about the charity of your choice in terms of fiscal responsibility and organizational efficiency. Please note that you should consider reading the annual reports online of the organizations that you are contemplating making a donation to or requesting their financial records via mail if they are not available online.

Charitable Giving Resources

The following online companies are great resources for determining if the non-profit organization that you are interested in is not only legitimate, but that it is operating with the highest level of efficiency. In general, a non-profit organization should spend no more than 25% of its annual income on overhead, meaning that at least 75% should go to actual services. Anything above 75% is really good and anything between 50-75% should make you do further research before making a donation.
